Kaliya Gang Robbers Arrested Near Shahdara Railway Station
Two members of the Kaliya gang, Monu Choudhary and Sunny, have been apprehended near Shahdara Railway Station. They targeted isolated areas, using stolen scooters. Their arrest followed a complaint and subsequent investigation involving analysis of CCTV footage. Further investigations are ongoing to capture a third gang member.

Two members of the notorious Kaliya gang were apprehended near Shahdara Railway Station, law enforcement officials announced on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Monu Choudhary (26) from Samastipur, Bihar, and Sunny (23) from Shahdara, Delhi, were involved in targeting individuals in isolated areas during early morning and late-night hours. They utilized stolen scooters for their getaways.
Police received a complaint on August 30 from Mansarovar Park Metro Station about a robbery. The victim, Mahesh Chand Pal, was attacked by two individuals wielding a sharp-pointed weapon and robbed of a bag containing valuables. Officers registered an FIR and analyzed CCTV footage, leading to the suspects' arrest. Investigations also scrutinized over 75 criminals with similar criminal behaviors.
Monu Choudhary is reportedly a drug addict with 12 prior theft cases and a two-year prison term. During interrogation, Sunny revealed that Gaurav alias Kalia was also involved in their criminal activities. Authorities are continuing their probe to arrest the absconding third member of the gang.
