Dr. Mandaviya calls for Channelizing 'Yuva Shakti' to Realize PM's Vision of 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047

Dr. Mandaviya urged DYOs to fully leverage the MY Bharat platform to bridge the gap between young citizens and government initiatives.

Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, chaired the valedictory session of the Two-Day National Convention of District Youth Officers (DYOs) in New Delhi today. In his address, Dr. Mandaviya emphasized the critical role of youth in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) by 2047.

Highlighting the immense potential of India's youth to drive unprecedented growth, the Minister encouraged DYOs to focus on empowering young people through innovative, technology-driven platforms and local engagement. He underscored the importance of the recently launched MY Bharat platform, a 'single window system' designed to enhance skill-building, leadership development, and youth engagement across the nation.

Dr. Mandaviya urged DYOs to fully leverage the MY Bharat platform to bridge the gap between young citizens and government initiatives. "We must guide the youth to participate in activities through this platform, opening new avenues for their growth," he remarked, emphasizing its role in amplifying outreach and development opportunities for youth.

The convention, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, featured discussions on India's growth, youth-led initiatives, technology in governance, and civic engagement. Sessions explored themes such as Viksit Bharat 2047, cyber security, entrepreneurship, and the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The event set a visionary direction for future youth engagement, fostering collaboration and innovation to channel the potential of India's youth toward national progress.
