Shooting Incident at Badlapur Railway Station Leaves One Injured

A man was injured in a shooting incident at Badlapur railway station in Thane district. The assailant was quickly apprehended, and the victim was taken to the hospital. Senior railway police officials are on the scene investigating the incident.

A man was injured after being shot at Badlapur railway station in neighbouring Thane district on Thursday evening, police said. The incident occurred on platform number 1, and the assailant was immediately overpowered and taken into custody, according to a Government Railway Police official.

The injured man was rushed to a hospital for treatment, the police official added.

Senior officials, including the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Railway), were en route to the scene, and an investigation was underway, he said.
