CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh Takes Additional Charge as NCB Chief
Anish Dayal Singh, current CRPF Director General, has been appointed as the acting chief of the Narcotics Control Bureau after S N Pradhan's retirement. Singh, a distinguished 1988 batch IPS officer, will hold this position for three months or until further notice. His extensive career includes leadership roles in various CAPFs.

Anish Dayal Singh, the current Director General of the CRPF, has assumed additional duties as the chief of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), following the retirement of S N Pradhan last week.
Singh, an IPS officer from the 1988 Manipur cadre, will retain this role for three months or until a permanent appointment is made, according to an official order.
Pradhan, who is from the 1988 Jharkhand cadre, retired on August 31. Singh has previously led nearly all Central Armed Police Forces, and is set to retire on December 31. The NCB is the country's main agency for anti-narcotics operations.
