Russia Conducts Precision Strikes on Ukrainian Military Targets

On Wednesday, Russia's Defence Ministry announced a precision strike on a military institute in Poltava, Ukraine, stating the target included soldiers and foreign instructors linked to attacks on Russian civilian sites. Ukrainian officials reported casualties of at least 50 dead and 271 injured.
The ministry detailed the strike occurred on September 3 at the 179th joint training centre of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the statement, the institute trained specialists in communications and electronic warfare under foreign instruction, including operators of unmanned aerial vehicles involved in strikes on Russian territory.
Additionally, the ministry disclosed the deployment of a hypersonic Kinzhal system to hit military-industrial targets in Lviv, western Ukraine. Russian forces have also claimed control over the settlements of Prechystivka and Karlivka in Eastern Ukraine.
