Tragic Accident: Young Woman Hit by SUV in Mumbai

A 26-year-old woman named Shahana Kaazi died after being struck by an SUV driven by merchant navy officer Anup Sinha in Mumbai's Malad area. The incident occurred in Gudiya Pada locality on Tuesday night. The police arrested Sinha and collected a blood sample to check for alcohol influence.

In a tragic incident from Mumbai, a 26-year-old woman, identified as Shahana Kaazi, lost her life after being hit by a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) on Tuesday night.

The accident occurred in Malad's Gudiya Pada locality, leading to the immediate arrest of the SUV driver, Anup Sinha, who works as a merchant navy officer. According to the police, Sinha took Kaazi to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Sinha was booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and is currently in police custody. Authorities have also seized his vehicle and collected his blood sample to determine if he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
