Former Aam Aadmi Party communication incharge Vijay Nair and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar walked out of Tihar jail on Tuesday, a day after the Supreme Court granted them bail in separate cases.

Delhi Chief Minister's wife, Sunita Kejriwal, shared a photo of Nair and Kumar on social media platform X, captioning it 'A tranquil day.' Nair, who was detained for 22 months in connection with the Delhi excise policy case, exited the jail around 6 p.m., according to a prison official.

Kumar, detained for allegedly assaulting AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, was released earlier at 2 p.m. after being in custody for over 100 days. He was arrested by the Delhi Police on May 18.

The Supreme Court noted the significant time Kumar had already spent in custody while granting bail. Meanwhile, senior AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh were also granted bail in the excise policy case.
