Salil Kapoor, former president of Atlas Cycles, was found dead at his Delhi residence in what appears to be a suicide, according to police. A note recovered at the scene cited financial burdens and harassment by four individuals, echoing the tragic circumstances surrounding his sister-in-law's suicide in 2020.

The 65-year-old was discovered in a pool of blood by his manager near the puja room on the ground floor of his bungalow. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead. Initial investigations suggest he used a licensed revolver.

The police declined to release the names of the accused harassers, citing an ongoing investigation. Kapoor's past legal troubles include a 2015 arrest by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in connection with cheating cases worth Rs 9 crore. His family, including his wife and three children, were residing separately, with his wife reportedly living in Dubai.
