The investigation into the Renukaswamy murder case, in which Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa stands accused, is nearly complete, with police preparing to submit a chargesheet to the court. Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara announced on Tuesday that the victim's family can expect justice.

According to Parameshwara, the police and government are united in their efforts to secure justice for Renukaswamy's family. He emphasized the mandatory requirement to file a chargesheet within 90 days, indicating that this step will soon be completed. The final decision regarding Darshan's position as either accused number one or two will depend on the available evidence.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda confirmed that the probe is in its final stages, with inputs from the Special Public Prosecutor taken into account. Forensic reports from labs in Bengaluru and Hyderabad are being compiled as part of the evidence. Darshan, along with Pavithra Gowda and 15 other accused, are currently in judicial custody, with recent relocations occurring amid security concerns and viral media content.
