Anvar claimed that Kumar intervened to alter the complainant's statement in the high-profile solar scam investigation, benefiting Venugopal.

Venugopal responded that the case has been thoroughly investigated by both the Kerala police and the CBI, and no new evidence has emerged. He criticized the allegations against political figures, urging a reassessment if new information is available.
