A 28-year-old man was detained for allegedly posting a controversial video targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media, police reported on Sunday.
The individual, identified as Vishal from Khaikheri village in the Purkazi area, was apprehended on Saturday, according to Circle Officer (CO) Rajkumar. Authorities have registered an FIR against him under sections 352 and 353 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), he confirmed.
Rajkumar also mentioned that further investigation into the matter is currently ongoing.
