Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a two-day national conference of the district judiciary beginning Saturday. The event is organized by the Supreme Court and will include a coin and postage stamp release to commemorate 75 years of the institution.
Notable attendees include Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, with President Droupadi Murmu delivering the valedictory address and unveiling the Supreme Court's flag and insignia on September 1. Chief Justice of India has planned six sessions covering various topics such as infrastructure, human resources, and case management.
More than 800 participants from all states and union territories will attend the conference which aims to improve the judiciary system's efficiency and inclusivity. The event is seen as crucial for addressing current challenges and enhancing the future of judicial administration in India.
