The Centre has conducted a pre-retirement counselling (PRC) workshop to educate its employees on retirement benefits, family pension, and other essential information, according to an official statement. The workshop benefitted over 750 retirees who are set to retire by March 31, 2025.

Organized by the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW), the workshop aims to ensure a smooth transition for Central government retirees. The event featured sessions on the BHAVISHYA portal, retirement benefits, and more, helping participants understand the procedures and benefits available post-retirement.

Concurrent with the workshop, the 7th Anubhav awards ceremony was held to acknowledge the contributions of retiring employees. The Anubhav portal, launched in March 2015, allows retiring officials to document their experiences, creating a knowledge repository for future governance. The 2024 ceremony honored outstanding contributions, with a significant 33% representation of women awardees. The event also saw the release of a citation booklet and a short movie highlighting the achievements of the awardees.
