Faridabad Court Sentences Rapist and Murderer to Life Imprisonment

A Faridabad court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for the brutal rape and murder of a 34-year-old woman. Additionally, the convict has been fined Rs 1.5 lakh. The crime took place on November 7, 2022, in Sector 7, Faridabad, and the convict was apprehended two weeks later.

In a landmark judgment, a Faridabad court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for the heinous rape and murder of a 34-year-old woman, committed two years ago.

The Additional Sessions Judge, Purushottam Kumar, not only handed down life imprisonment but also levied a fine of Rs 1.5 lakh on the convict.

Details of the case revealed a horrific crime committed by the accused, Manoj Nepali (38), who brutally attacked the woman after misleading her with false promises of marriage. Following an intense investigation, the accused was apprehended at the Nepal border.
