The Gurugram administration is set to collaborate with residents' welfare associations (RWAs) to drive voter participation for the Haryana assembly election scheduled on October 1.

More than 1,200 RWAs across Gurugram district will host voter awareness activities. The top three RWAs with the highest voter turnout will be recognized for their efforts. The district, including Pataudi (SC), Badshahpur, Gurgaon, and Sohna constituencies, boasts a total of 1,487,310 registered voters.

District Election Officer Nishant Kumar Yadav announced the establishment of polling stations in 126 high-rise buildings to motivate urban voters. According to the Election Commission, Pataudi, Badshahpur, Gurgaon, and Sohna constituencies have 2.53 lakh, 5.13 lakh, 4.37 lakh, and 2.83 lakh voters respectively.
