Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted approximately 15 drones launched by Russia in its third attack on Kyiv within four days, according to Serhiy Popko, head of Kyiv's military administration.

Debris from the intercepted drones damaged windows and doors of an apartment building and ignited a fire in a non-residential building, which was quickly extinguished. Kyiv regional governor Ruslan Kravchenko confirmed that the drones did not damage critical infrastructure in the Kyiv region, and there were no reported casualties.

In the central region of Cherkasy, falling debris caused a fire on the grounds of a private enterprise, which emergency services managed to contain. Russia's full-scale invasion began in February 2022, and recent airstrikes have targeted energy facilities, involving over 200 missiles and drones. These strikes have led to emergency and planned power cuts to stabilize the grid.
