Two men in their early twenties were apprehended for allegedly gang-raping a 16-year-old girl and posting a video of the incident on social media, according to police reports.
The girl's mother filed a complaint detailing that on August 11, her daughter was lured to the fields by Akash and Ram from a neighboring village, who offered her a drink spiked with sedatives before assaulting her, stated SHO Sanjivkant Mishra.
Mishra mentioned that an FIR has been registered, and efforts are underway to arrest the suspects.
