Italian divers have retrieved the body of Hannah Lynch, the 18-year-old daughter of British tech magnate Mike Lynch, who was the last person unaccounted for after the family's luxury yacht sank off Sicily. Seven people, including Lynch himself, perished when the 56-metre Bayesian capsized during a fierce pre-dawn storm near Palermo.

While 15 people, including Lynch's wife and the yacht's captain, survived, authorities have shifted their attention to an official investigation. The prosecutor's office in Termini Imerese, led by Ambrogio Cartosio, is exploring charges of negligent shipwreck and multiple homicide. The captain and other survivors have been questioned but have yet to comment publicly on the incident.

Cartosio plans to hold a news conference on Saturday. Hannah Lynch's body was found on Friday, after a five-day search by divers. Previous recoveries included five other passengers and the onboard chef, Recaldo Thomas. The Lynch family, expressing their shock and grief, thanked the Italian coastguard and emergency services. Experts remain puzzled by the rapid sinking of the yacht, which was constructed by Italian high-end manufacturer Perini. Salvage operations, estimated to cost up to 15 million euros, have been described as complex and prolonged by experts.
