Speeding Bus Tragedy: Student Killed, Several Injured

A 20-year-old student was tragically killed and seven other passengers sustained injuries after a speeding double-decker bus collided with a divider and overturned on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, police reported on Friday.
The deceased, identified as Sandeep Gurjar, was a student at Kinder Kin College of Education in Panipat. Gurjar and his friend Naveen Kumar were returning to Jaipur from Panipat after an exam. According to Kumar's complaint, the bus driver was driving at high speed despite requests to slow down, claiming he was in a hurry to reach Jaipur.
Around 2 am, the bus lost control and overturned after hitting the divider near Narsinghpur village. Police and local residents rescued the passengers and rushed them to the hospital, where Gurjar was declared dead. An FIR has been filed against the driver, who fled the scene.
