Police Constable Found Dead by Suicide in Bhankrota

A police head constable named Babu Lal was found hanging inside a police chowky under Bhankrota Police Station. He was alone at the time of the incident. The body has been sent for postmortem, and an investigation is ongoing.

A police head constable allegedly hanged himself inside a police chowky here on Thursday, officials said. The incident took place at the chowky under the Bhankrota Police Station, they said.

Babu Lal, the head constable, was found hanging from the ceiling of the police chowky where he was posted, according to Station House Officer Rajkumar Meena. He was alone at the time of the incident.

The body has been sent for postmortem, and an investigation is currently underway, SHO Meena added.
