Tragic Incidents in Kolwa: Electrocution and Drowning
A 45-year-old man in Kolwa village died from electrocution while working on a switchboard, and another 45-year-old woman’s body was found in Malti River. The woman, identified as Geeta Devi, had gone to the river to defecate. Authorities have sent both bodies for post-mortem examination.

In a tragic turn of events, a 45-year-old man from Kolwa village succumbed to electrocution on Wednesday while working on a switchboard at his residence, confirmed Sangrampur Police Station's in-charge, Ish Narayan Mishra.
In a separate incident, the body of a 45-year-old woman, Geeta Devi, was discovered floating in the Malti River. She was a resident of Visheshwarganj market and had gone to the river for defecation, police reported.
Both bodies have been dispatched for post-mortem examinations to ascertain the exact causes of death, authorities stated.
