Indian Doctor in US Charged with Multiple Sex Crimes

An Indian doctor, identified as Oumair Aejaz, has been held in a US jail on a $2 million bond after being charged with multiple sex crimes. According to media reports, Aejaz allegedly recorded hundreds of nude images and videos of children and women over several years.

Aejaz was arrested on August 8, following the discovery of hidden cameras placed in bathrooms, changing areas, hospital rooms, and his own home. Authorities became aware of his offenses after his wife came forward with disturbed materials. Previously, Aejaz had no criminal history.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office has revealed that the breadth of Aejaz's crimes is still being investigated, with thousands of videos found at his residence. Authorities suspect there could be many more victims. The investigation is expected to take months.
