Siroya Challenges Siddaramaiah Over MUDA Scam Allegations

BJP MP Lahar Singh Siroya has urged Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to address the MUDA scam allegations as a private individual, rather than deploying state resources. The controversy involves the purported illegal acquisition of land by Siddaramaiah's family in Mysuru.

BJP MP Lahar Singh Siroya on Saturday called on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to address allegations stemming from the MUDA scam as a private citizen. Siroya insisted the Chief Minister should not utilize state machinery to defend himself.

Taking to social media platform 'X', Siroya emphasized that the MUDA scam is a personal matter involving Siddaramaiah's family and private property. He urged Siddaramaiah to recognize the distinction between his personal life and his official role.

The MUDA case centers on the allocation of alternative sites in Mysuru's upscale areas to Siddaramaiah's wife, Parvathi, linked to the 'illegal acquisition' of over three acres of land.
