Tragic Incident: Child Abducted, Assaulted, Thrown into Drain

A man allegedly kidnapped and attempted to rape a two-year-old girl before throwing her into a drain as her family chased him. The girl's body was found the next morning. The accused, Moish, has been arrested and an investigation is underway.

A man allegedly kidnapped a two-year-old girl and attempted to rape her before throwing her into a drain, police reported on Saturday.

The tragic incident occurred late Friday in Sadar area when Moish, 20, abducted the sleeping child. Awakened family members chased him, but he managed to throw the girl into a drain and fled.

The girl's body was discovered the following morning. Superintendent of Police Ayush Vikram Singh confirmed that Moish has been arrested and an investigation is ongoing. The girl's body has been sent for post-mortem.
