In a startling case of fraud, a Sector 46 resident, Jitendra Kumar, was deceived out of Rs 54 lakh by individuals pretending to be from Adani Health Venturers Ltd (AHVL), as per police reports on Thursday.

Kumar identified the perpetrators as Shashi Sinha and Soumyajit Ganguly. He said they contacted him on April 15, offering three pharma franchises in various sectors of Gurugram.

After advancing substantial payments, he realized he was duped when the accused vanished, leading to an FIR at Bilaspur Police Station. Authorities are currently verifying the complaint's details.
