Police Nab Four Ivory Smugglers in Gwalior Bust

Authorities in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, have apprehended four men implicated in ivory smuggling. The officials seized two genuine elephant tusks during the raid.
Acting on a tip-off, police targeted the office of Chandresh Shrivastava on Tuesday night, where the four suspects were found in possession of the ivory pieces. The seized items were confirmed to be authentic by forest officials before the arrests were made.
Those arrested include Krishnakumar Gupta and Mahendra Kumar Seth from Prayagraj, Himanshu Kukreja from Agra, and Hukumchand Gupta from Gwalior. The men are now facing charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Wildlife (Protection) Act, and are being interrogated for further information on their network.
