Russia initiated an evacuation of residents in the Lipetsk region on Friday following a 'massive attack' by Ukrainian drones, which resulted in explosions, power disruption, and nine injuries, according to regional governor Igor Artamonov.

Evacuation orders were issued for four villages, some near an air force base, after a state of emergency was announced in the Lipetsk municipal district. A fire broke out at the air base outside Lipetsk city, emergency officials reported.

Further security measures included the cancellation of entertainment events while maintaining security for other venues. In a separate report, the governor of Sevastopol in Crimea, Mikhail Razvozhayev, stated that Russian forces neutralized six drones near the city. Additionally, Russia's defense ministry reported the destruction of 75 Ukrainian drones, predominantly over Belgorod and Lipetsk regions.
