Hizbul Mujahideen Operative Arrested in Jammu and Kashmir: Search Operations Intensify
A Hizbul Mujahideen operative, Abdul Khalil, was arrested by security forces during search operations in various districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Weapons, ammunition, and multiple Pakistani SIM cards were recovered from him. Extensive cordon and search operations are ongoing across multiple areas to locate other suspected terrorists.

A Hizbul Mujahideen operative was arrested as the security forces conducted search operations in different parts of Poonch, Rajouri, Kishtwar and Doda districts in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
Abdul Khalil, a resident of north Kashmir's Bandipora, was arrested from Surankote area of Poonch district during an anti-terrorist operation, according to authorities.
A pistol and some ammunition were recovered from Khalil, who is accused of facilitating infiltrating terrorists of the proscribed Hizbul Mujahideen outfit, officials stated. Additionally, a mobile phone with multiple Pakistani SIM cards was seized from him.
Security forces launched a significant cordon and search operation after gaining information about the movement of two suspected terrorists in Dehra Ki Gali area of Poonch. Two armed suspects dressed in black were reportedly seen moving in Salampura village near Dehra Ki Gali late Monday night.
The police, assisted by the Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF, immediately began a joint operation. Although the suspects moved towards lower Pangai, no contact has been made yet.
Further search operations were launched at Sanai, Jangal, Pattan and adjoining villages in Surankote area of Poonch and Bangar-Saroor forest in Drabshalla area of Kishtwar district. Similar operations also took place in Dessa and nearby forests in Doda and forward areas in Lam and Nowshera sectors of Rajouri district.
