Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Saturday highlighted several infrastructure issues critical to his state's development during the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting. The meeting, held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, aligns with the broader vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047.
After attending the meeting, Rio stated, 'Attended @NITIAayog's 9th Governing Council Meeting along with the state CMs, LG of UTs, and Union Ministers, which was chaired by Shri @narendramodi Ji. Highlighted a few infrastructure issues concerning the development of the State aligning with vision Viksit Bharat @2047,' he wrote on 'X'.
During the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the necessity of setting zero poverty targets starting at the village level, advocating for poverty to be tackled on an individual basis rather than through broad programs.
