China's central bank governor, Pan Gongsheng, held a meeting on Friday with Pakistan's Finance Minister, Muhammad Aurangzeb, to exchange views on bilateral finance cooperation. This was confirmed by an official statement from the People's Bank of China.

Minister Aurangzeb arrived in Beijing on Thursday, where he is participating in discussions aimed at addressing power sector debt relief. These discussions also include structural reforms recommended by the International Monetary Fund, according to two sources within the Pakistan government.

This visit underscores the ongoing efforts by both nations to enhance financial cooperation and tackle key economic challenges strategically.
