Man Arrested for Stabbing Teen in North Delhi

A 30-year-old man, Bharat, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing 18-year-old Zahid in North Delhi. The incident occurred on the night of July 21, and Bharat was apprehended on July 23. Police are currently investigating and seeking Bharat's accomplice, Dhirender.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a teenager in the north Delhi area, officials confirmed on Thursday.

Authorities received a PCR call about the incident at approximately 10:50 p.m. on July 21.

The victim, 18-year-old Zahid, was attacked by unknown individuals and transported to Deep Chand Hospital before being referred to Safdurjung Hospital in critical condition, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (North), Manoj Kumar Meena.

A First Information Report (FIR) was registered, and an investigation was initiated. Bharat was arrested in Kishanganj on July 23.

During interrogation, Bharat confessed to his involvement, revealing that he and Dhirender got into an argument with Zahid at Rakhi Market Zakhira, leading to the stabbing in a fit of rage, Meena stated.

The investigation is ongoing, and efforts continue to apprehend Dhirender, added the DCP.
