The Working Sub Group on Planning of Military Cooperation under the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Military and Military Technical Cooperation (IRIGC-M&MTC) convened for its 3rd meeting on July 23-24, 2024, in New Delhi. The meeting focused on enhancing existing defence engagements between India and Russia and exploring new initiatives within the framework of their bilateral defence cooperation.

This forum, designed to facilitate ongoing defence collaboration, conducts regular operational-level discussions between the Headquarters, Integrated Defence Staff (HQIDS) of India and the Main Directorate of International Military Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Defence. The aim is to strengthen defence ties and coordinate efforts to advance mutual military interests.
