Noida Police Nabs Runaway Fraudster at Kolkata Airport
Noida Police apprehended Abhishek Goyal at Kolkata airport as he attempted to flee the country. Goyal is accused of duping a businessman of over Rs 90 lakh through forgery and cheating. He was tracked using electronic surveillance and detained with airport security assistance. Further legal proceedings are underway.

Noida Police on Tuesday apprehended Abhishek Goyal at Kolkata airport as he tried to flee the country after allegedly duping a businessman of over Rs 90 lakh.
Goyal, aged 42, faced charges of cheating and forgery among others, as per a complaint filed by Hetal Verma, the director of Arian Global Lifestyle Private Limited on March 10.
Verma claimed that Goyal, along with accomplices, promised to help him obtain a Rs 25 crore loan from a Singapore bank but instead defrauded him using forged documents.
Leveraging electronic surveillance, police tracked Goyal to Kolkata airport and apprehended him with airport security's help. He was attempting to flee to Bangkok.
Goyal, identified as a Pune resident, was brought to Noida after securing a transit remand from a Kolkata court. Further legal proceedings in the case are in progress.
