The majority of the drones, 21 in total, were taken down over the Crimean Peninsula and the waters of the Black Sea. In addition, two drones were neutralized over Russia's Bryansk region and two more in the Belgorod region, both of which border Ukraine.
The incident marks a significant defensive success for Russia amid ongoing tensions and conflict in the region.
