The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended a sub-inspector and two head constables of the Delhi Police on bribery charges, officials reported Saturday.

Sub-Inspector Yudhveer Singh Yadav, stationed at Hauz Khas police station, was detained while allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs 2.5 lakh. In a separate incident, head constables Sudhakar and Rajkumar, based at Patparganj Industrial Area, were caught accepting Rs 10,000 of a Rs 50,000 bribe.

Yadav reportedly demanded Rs 3 lakh for a favorable report in a court case, later reducing the amount to Rs 2.5 lakh. He was captured red-handed, per CBI's account. The case involving the head constables was registered against Sudhakar and unidentified Special Staff officials. According to a CBI spokesperson, four individuals in civilian clothing demanded Rs 50,000 from the complainant to avoid implicating her in a case, later agreeing to accept Rs 11,000 as partial payment. Sudhakar and Rajkumar were arrested during this negotiation process.
