16th Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly to Convene for Second Session

The second session of the 16th Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will commence on July 22. Speaker C Ayyannapatrudu has directed officials to ensure the smooth functioning of the session, which is expected to run for five days. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is slated to release three significant white papers during this period.

The 16th Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly's second session is scheduled to start on July 22. Assembly Speaker C Ayyannapatrudu has instructed officials to prepare all necessary arrangements for the seamless functioning of the House.

"From the 22nd of this month (July), the Assembly session is expected to function for five days. Hence, for the smooth functioning of the House, all the necessary arrangements should be made," Ayyannapatrudu stated in an official press release on Friday.

Newcomers, including 88 new MLAs and nine MLCs, will attend the session alongside seasoned lawmakers. During the session, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to unveil three white papers focused on law and order, excise, and state finances.
