A group of refugees from Pakistan has hailed the Indian government's move to abrogate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, claiming it has brought long-awaited justice to many unheard voices in the region.

Labha Ram Gandhi, president of the West Pakistani Refugees (WPRs) association, met Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh to express their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for granting the refugees citizenship.

The association, representing families that migrated during the 1947 partition, accused previous governments of neglect and praised the current government for facilitating their integration into Indian society. They pledged to contribute positively to their new homeland.
