The Haryana government has introduced a 10 per cent reservation for Agniveers in critical services such as police, forest guard, and jail warden, announced Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday. The incentives also include age relaxation in direct recruitment for these roles.

Saini stated at a press conference that there would be a 10 per cent horizontal reservation for Agniveers in direct recruitment for positions like constable, mining guard, forest guard, jail warden, and special police officer.

The Chief Minister also declared that age relaxation of three years would be provided for Group C and D posts. Specifically, for the first batch of Agniveers, the age relaxation will be extended to five years.
