A property dealer was shot, and his friend was thrashed by unidentified individuals allegedly over a monetary dispute early Tuesday morning, police reported. The victims, Raj Kumar Sehrawat and his friend Sachin Gulati, were identified by the authorities.

According to the police, the altercation occurred in an office located in Daultabad, where Sehrawat and Gulati had gone to meet another property dealer named Deepak. Around 2 am, a disagreement over financial matters escalated into violence, culminating in one assailant shooting Sehrawat in the leg.

The attackers also severely beat Gulati with sticks before fleeing the scene. Both victims were quickly taken to the hospital, where they are receiving medical attention. An FIR has been lodged at Rajendra Park police station, and a detailed investigation is ongoing, stated Assistant Commissioner of Police Naveen Kumar.
