Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has leveled serious charges against the previous YSRCP government, accusing it of large-scale exploitation of the state's lands, mines, minerals, and forest resources over the past five years.

Naidu alleged that YSRCP leaders were involved in rampant land grabbing and forgery of housing documents. He specifically mentioned instances where lands were assigned to ineligible individuals, including party cadres, MLAs, and others close to the party. Naidu released a white paper detailing what he called the YSRCP's systematic plunder of natural resources.

Highlighting specific scams, Naidu pointed to the Rs 4,469 crore Vizag land scam and similar scandals in Ongole, Tirupati, and Chittoor, which collectively accounted for hundreds of crores in losses. He accused YSRCP leaders of forcibly acquiring land from marginalized communities and illegally converting assigned lands into freehold properties. The CM vowed to rectify land records and called on affected citizens to lodge complaints through an upcoming toll-free helpline and website. Naidu also promised to bring in new legislation to tackle land grabbing, similar to Gujarat's AP Land Grabbing Act.
