Property Seized: Rajouri's Alleged Drug Peddler Faces the Law

Law enforcement in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, took significant action on Monday by attaching the property of Basid Ali, an alleged drug peddler, valued at over Rs 1 crore. The operation was conducted under Section 68(E)(F) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, according to a police officer.

According to local authorities, Basid Ali's residential house was secured as multiple FIRs had been registered against him across different police stations in Rajouri, all linked to the narcotics trade.

Additional Superintendent of Police Musadik Basu, who spearheaded the operation, confirmed that the property was attached as it had been acquired through the illegal proceeds of the narcotics trade.
