Tragic Incident: Nine-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Molested and Pushed into Canal

A nine-year-old girl from Nandyala district was allegedly molested by three minor boys and pushed into the Mucchumarri Lift Irrigation canal. The incident took place on Sunday. Police received a missing complaint and have launched a search with the help of a National Disaster Response Force team.

A tragic incident unfolded in Nandyala district as a nine-year-old girl was allegedly molested and pushed into a canal by three minor boys, according to the police.

District superintendent of police K Raghuveera Reddy disclosed that the girl, while playing in a park on Sunday, was attacked and then pushed into the Mucchumarri Lift Irrigation canal.

Two of the accused are 15 years old, while the third is 12. The police, acting on a complaint from the girl's parents, launched a search but have yet to recover her body. A National Disaster Response Force team joined the search efforts on Thursday. It remains unclear whether the girl was raped until her body is found.
