The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has captured a man accused of pilfering mobile phones and laptops from numerous travelers near the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, official sources confirmed on Tuesday.

Identified as Dharmendra, the suspect preyed on unsuspecting victims in the Metro skywalk area, which connects the IGI station of the Delhi Airport Metro to the airport. He was apprehended by a CISF intelligence team, disguised in civilian clothes, while allegedly stealing a woman's purse at around 4 am on June 23.

In May, Dharmendra had also allegedly stolen a mobile phone, wallet, clothes, and documents from a CISF constable outside the terminal area, along with other incidents of theft from passengers in the skywalk area. He has been handed over to the Delhi Police and is charged under IPC sections 379 (theft) and 411 (keeping stolen property).
