Mexico to investigate labor rights at avocado picker after U.S. request
Mexico has admitted a request submitted by the United States under a trilateral trade pact to investigate alleged labor rights denials at avocado producer RV Fresh Foods in the central state of Michoacan, the Mexican government said on Monday.
The labor ministry now has around a month to determine whether or not labor rights were violated at the company, the ministry said in a joint statement with the economy ministry.
