TV BRICS has launched an innovative educational television series titled 'Russian Lessons with Tanya Semke.' This initiative aims to teach Russian as a foreign language while promoting Russian culture across BRICS+ countries.
Consisting of 99 episodes, each lasting four minutes, the series promises to simplify the comprehension and mastery of the Russian language. Viewers will gain foundational grammar knowledge, reading skills, and vocabulary essential for everyday conversations. Hosted by language expert Tanya Semke, the course encourages cross-cultural engagement and will air twice weekly on TV BRICS and its English-language online portal.
The initiative is a continuation of TV BRICS' strategic efforts to globalize the Russian language. It builds on the 'Modern Russian' project launched in 2007, which aims to enhance literacy and provide linguistic support worldwide. TV BRICS collaborates with over 80 media outlets in 26 countries, ensuring wide-reaching distribution of the series and additional educational resources.
