Texas authorities have launched a probe into the killing of Jamie White, an InfoWars reporter who was murdered late Sunday night in South Austin, as reported by Fox News. InfoWars founder Alex Jones confirmed the casualty on Monday, labeling it a "brutal murder."

The incident, marking Austin's eighth homicide of 2025, has escalated existing concerns about crime within the city. According to FOX 7 Austin, police responded around midnight to the 2300 block of Douglas Street and discovered White with "obvious signs of trauma." Despite being rushed to the hospital, White did not survive. Details of the attack remain undisclosed, and no suspects have been identified. The investigation remains active.

In a formal declaration, InfoWars expressed deep sorrow over White's death. "We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night, partly due to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX DA Jose Garza," the outlet noted. It further pledged to seek justice, declaring, "We promise that Jamie's tragic death will not fade into obscurity, and those accountable for this senseless violence will be brought to justice. Jamie's significant work will persist through InfoWars, our audience, and dedicated listeners."

Austin has grappled with a crime surge over recent years. In 2023, under severe police personnel shortages, the Austin Police Department advised residents to contact 311 instead of 911 when confronting ATM robberies, reported Fox News. By August 2024, Montopolis residents, another Austin neighborhood, expressed anxiety about escalating violence. "It's enough to make the hair on my arms stand up. Hearing eight, nine, ten gunshots in sequence. Just bam, bam, bam. Where are these bullets landing?" remarked a local. "I fear being shot while asleep."

The inquiry into White's murder continues as authorities strive to uncover the circumstances surrounding this case. (ANI)
