In a sharp escalation of hostilities, Hezbollah launched approximately 100 missiles targeting Israel, according to the Israel Defence Forces. The barrage has sparked wildfires across northern Israel, with firefighters tirelessly battling the flames.

Retaliating swiftly, the Israeli military claimed a significant strike on Hezbollah's intelligence hub in southern Beirut, Lebanon. This targeted operation reportedly killed three important officials within Hezbollah's hierarchy: Elhag Abbas Salameh, Racha Abbas Icha, and Ahmed Ali Hasin, as reported by Al Jazeera.

Moreover, the operation hit a secret weapons workshop in the Lebanese capital. Israel has accused Hezbollah of continuous aggression, with the IDF highlighting a staggering 378 days of incessant attacks on Israeli civilians.
