Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported an alarming escalation in Russian military strikes over the past week, detailing the deployment of over 20 missiles, around 800 guided aerial bombs, and more than 500 strike drones targeting Ukraine.

Via a post on platform X, Zelenskyy emphasized, 'Every day, Russia strikes our cities and communities, a testament to their deliberate terror against Ukrainian people.' He underscored Ukraine's pressing requirement for advanced air defence systems and long-range capabilities, urging global allies for increased support.

The ongoing conflict, intensified by Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022, has resulted in significant civilian casualties despite Moscow's persistent denials of intentional targeting. Attacks have become widespread, particularly in eastern and southern regions, prompting Ukraine's call for more sophisticated defense solutions with Western backing.
