Fujairah's First Children's Book Fair: A Literary Triumph

The first-ever Fujairah Children's Book Fair wrapped up on October 19, drawing more than 10,000 attendees and marking a significant milestone for the emirate's literary scene. Under the guidance of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the event was a hub of cultural activity, offering a dynamic range of 87 activities.
Emphasizing the theme 'Create the Future with Imagination,' the event featured a diverse array of zones dedicated to imagination, adventure, creativity, and the future. Visitors, including families and school groups, were treated to workshops and panel discussions aimed at fostering a love for reading and creativity in children.
Among the highlights were the involvement of prominent authors and the unveiling of the Upcoming Author competition, which celebrated budding young writers. Nasser Al Yamahi of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority praised the successful fair, highlighting its role in promoting reading and cultural engagement in the emirate.
