The diplomatic rift between India and Canada has intensified following Ottawa's decision to expel six Indian diplomats. Anil Shringi, a prominent Canadian-based journalist, has criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's actions, labeling them vote bank politics without substantial evidence to back the claims.

The Indian government responded in kind, expelling Canadian diplomats and expressing disapproval over the accusations linking Indian officials to terrorism charges. Defence expert Dhruv Katoch highlighted the lack of evidence supporting Trudeau's allegations and warned of ulterior motives aimed at undermining India's international standing.

As tensions escalate, Shringi emphasized the detrimental impact on the Indo-Canadian community and urged both governments to engage in dialogue, resolve differences, and restore diplomatic relations to alleviate disruptions faced by citizens requiring visas for family events and emergencies.
